Directions:
Use in the morning to help with overall puffiness /swelling of the face and eyes. Use in the evening to help promote relaxation and relieve tension. Take your time, moving at a steady pace. Either one 10 minute session, or two 5 minute sessions, day and night from 3-7 days each week.
Sculptors: On clean, well hydrated skin (we recommend Byrdies Healing Face Serum and/or Byrdies Anti-Aging Face Oil), begin at center of face. Hold tool where it practically is lying flat against your skin. Move your gua sha with gentle pressure, in sweeping upward and outward motions, avoiding areas of active breakouts. Beginning under chin (using either curved side or cleft), follow lower neck jawline, with point of cleft pressing upward toward chin while gliding outward toward ears. Next, beginning at chin under bottom lip, follow facial jawline moving stone upward and outward toward earlobes. From bridge of nose (either circular edge or double curved side), gentle sweep under cheekbones upwards to top of ear. Then with lightest pressure and stone fairly flat to skin (circular edge or double curved side), sweep over top of cheekbone/ under eye upward and outward to temple. Starting at center bridge of nose (pointed convex edge), glide over browbone/ eyebrows gently outward past the temples. Next- sweep in upwards strokes from brows to hairline (concave side or teeth edge), from center of forehead past temples. Finally, finish off the treatment (curved side) with sweeping strokes down the hairline framing your face, all the way past earlobes and down the sides of your neck (conclave side) to collarbone. Rinse your face and neck with water after your treatment. Wash your stone with soap and warm water, dry carefully and store in a safe place.
